Mission

Wild Indigo was created to support Atlanta Trans mental health care. Each year a Trans clinician will be sponsored by our program. The clinician will then be allowed to identify a Trans client in need of financial assistance. Wild Indigo will cover therapy weekly, or bi weekly, up to a year at a competitive market rate.

Our Fundraising

About Us

Lauren Ramos

Lauren is an Atlanta Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor. She has been active in community mental health for over a decade. Lauren's motivation to move into the non-profit space comes from witnessing barriers to accessing care for marginalized communities. She believes in the power of investment, no matter how small, back into your  community.

Julie Justus

For the last ten years Julie has served children and adolescents as a therapist & school counselor. Her experience includes outpatient as well as acute care. Her heart is firmly rooted in youth mental health and early intervention. Grounded in her social work background, Julie naturally gravitates towards non-profit initiatives that support dismantling barriers to care.

Blake Dill

Blake Dill is an Atlanta native whose always been motivated to donate his time, and money, to support local anti-oppressive causes. A primary motivation for his non-profit work is to balance care access inequality. He recognizes the importance of individual investment to challenge systemic injustice.

Diversity Initiative

Our founding board recognizes the importance of representation to accurately reflect the needs of the community we serve. It is a priority to expand our board to include a member of the Atlanta Trans counseling community. We will focus energy on interviews and recruitment after our initial round of fundraising.
